The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Payson Longhorns (Payson, AZ) and the visiting San Tan Foothills Sabercats (Queen Creek, AZ), observed Payson's basketball team overwhelm San Tan Foothills by a score of 56-16.

The Longhorns (20-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Snowflake (Snowflake, AZ). The Lobos come into the non-league challenge with a 19-4 record. In their last challenge, Snowflake was routed by Show Low (Show Low, AZ), 56-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Sabercats encounter the Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ) in a 3A Metro challenge, on Thursday, January 23. San Tan Foothills will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 46-33 league win over Benjamin Franklin (Queen Creek, AZ).
