Texas High School Basketball - Chaparral routs University
January 22, 2025: Waco, TX 76706 In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Chaparral Bobcats basketball team scored a big 66-26 triumph over the University Trojans.
The Bobcats (19-11) will now prepare for their contest against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions go into the 5A Region II District 16 contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Waco was trounced by Ellison (Killeen, TX), 53-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 contest, on Friday, January 24. University will attempt to better on its 4-16 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 12-17 record after their 47-30 league loss to Lake Belton (Temple, TX).
