The Waco Lions (Waco, TX) basketball toppled the host University Trojans (Waco, TX), 52-40 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 10-18 record. They play next when they host Belton for a 5A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Waco will play a Tigers team coming off a 39-36 league loss to Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 13-19.
