January 22, 2025: Essexville, MI 48732 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) and the visiting Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI), witnessed Garber's ice hockey team defeat Gladwin by a score of 2-0.
The Dukes (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Bay City, MI). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Central by Powers Catholic (Flint, MI), 6-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Flying G's battle the Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI) in a Independent challenge, on Friday, January 24. Gladwin will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record. The Chippewas come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 13-4 non-league win over Huron (New Boston, MI).
