Illinois High School Basketball - Moline trounces Alleman
January 23, 2024: Moline, IL 61265 The Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL), 60-24 in Tuesday's league test.
The Maroons (19-2) will now prepare for their test against Rock Island (Rock Island, IL). The Rocks go into the Western Big 6 test with a 17-6 record. In their last test, Rock Island walloped Sterling (Sterling, IL), 64-59, in a league test.
The Pioneers now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they travel to Newman Central Catholic for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 24. Alleman will encounter a Comets squad coming off a 60-36 non-league win over Stockton (Stockton, IL). The Comets record now stands at 14-9.
