Illinois High School Basketball - Moline overwhelms Galesburg
December 15, 2023: Galesburg, IL 61401 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) and the host Galesburg Silver Streaks (Galesburg, IL), saw Moline's basketball squad wallop Galesburg by a tally of 86-49.
With the victory, Moline improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to North Scott (Eldridge, IA) to confront the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 16. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. North Scott won 55-49 in their recent league challenge against Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA)
Next up, the Silver Streaks confront the Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Galesburg will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 66-60 non-league loss to Central DeWitt (DeWitt, IA).
