Ohio High School Basketball - West Carrollton knocked off by Sidney
January 23, 2024: West Carrollton, OH 45449 The Sidney Yellowjackets basketball team scored 56 points and held the host West Carrollton Pirates to 44 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairborn for a Miami Valley - Valley contest on Friday, January 26. Sidney will battle a Skyhawks team coming off a 62-51 league win over Piqua (Piqua, OH). The Skyhawks record now stands at 8-6.
The Pirates (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH). The Red Devils enter the Miami Valley - Valley contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Tippecanoe ran past Stebbins (Riverside, OH), 49-35, in a league contest.
