January 5, 2024: Xenia, OH 45385 The West Carrollton Pirates (West Carrollton, OH) basketball crushed the host Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH), 59-38 in Friday's league test.
The Pirates (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Lakota West (West Chester, OH). The Firebirds go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Lakota West walloped Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH), 56-46, in a league test.
The Buccaneers now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Fairborn for a Miami Valley - Valley test on Tuesday, January 9. Xenia will encounter a Skyhawks squad coming off a 42-39 league win over Troy (Troy, OH). The Skyhawks record now stands at 5-4.
