The Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs basketball team (Washington, DC), was nudged 57-52 in Tuesday's league battle with the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD)

The Lions now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Potomac School for a Independent School battle on Thursday, January 25. St. Andrew's Episcopal will confront a Panthers team coming off a 63-42 league win over Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC). The Panthers record now stands at 12-4.

The Cubs (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers come into the Independent School battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Potomac School edged Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 54-49, in a league battle.
