The Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Union Bears (Appalachia, VA), 45-43 in Tuesday's league test.

The Warriors (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Gate City (Gate City, VA). The Blue Devils go into the Mountain test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Gate City was tipped by Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA), 70-69, in a league test.
