Delaware High School Basketball - Indian River tops Delmar
January 24, 2023: Dagsboro, DE 19939 Indian River Indians (Dagsboro, DE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Delmar Wildcats (Delmar, DE), 56-46 in a league bout.
With the victory, Indian River upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Newark Charter School (Newark, DE) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Newark Charter School lost 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Wilmington Christian Warriors (Hockessin, DE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. Delmar will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 61-42 non-league loss to Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE).
