The East Rowan Mustangs basketball team (Salisbury, NC), was nudged 73-67 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Rowan for a 3A Conference 48 battle on Friday, January 27. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a Falcons team coming off a 63-60 non-league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 12-6.
