The Harvest Christian Academy Lions basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting South Beloit Sobos to 40 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 19-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Life for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Harvest Christian Academy will meet a Eagles team coming off a 66-42 non-league win over Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-10.
The Sobos (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Schaumburg Christian (Schaumburg, IL). The Conquerors enter the Northeastern contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Schaumburg Christian was nudged by Westlake Christian Academy (Grayslake, IL), 60-58, in a non-league contest.
