Illinois High School Basketball - South Beloit overwhelms Christian Life
January 10, 2023: Rockford, IL 61114 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL) and the host Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL), saw South Beloit's basketball squad wallop Christian Life by a tally of 60-27.
With the victory, South Beloit improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Sobos travel to Harvard (Harvard, IL) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Harvard lost 62-34 in their recent league battle against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL)
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their battle against Durand (Durand, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Durand trounced Pearl City (Pearl City, IL), 49-44, in a league battle.
