Massachusetts High School Basketball - Ipswich ripped by Newburyport
January 24, 2023: Ipswich, MA 01938 The Newburyport Clippers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Ipswich Tigers to 34 in the Clippers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Clippers now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Reading for a Cape Ann - Large contest on Friday, January 27. Newburyport will battle a Hornets team coming off a 83-45 non-league win over Rockport (Rockport, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-1.
The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rockport (Rockport, MA). The Vikings enter the Cape Ann - Small contest with a 3-9 record. In their last contest, Rockport was routed by North Reading (North Reading, MA), 83-45, in a non-league contest.
