Manchester Essex Hornets (Manchester, MA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA), 69-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Manchester Essex upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Rockport (Rockport, MA) to play the Vikings in a Cape Ann - Small bout on Friday, January 6. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Rockport lost 53-47 in their recent league bout against Amesbury (Amesbury, MA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals (South Hamilton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Ipswich will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
