Massachusetts High School Basketball - Ipswich ripped by Lynnfield
February 7, 2023: Ipswich, MA 01938 The Lynnfield Pioneers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Ipswich Tigers to 33 in the Pioneers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pioneers now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Reading for a Cape Ann - Large contest on Friday, February 10. Lynnfield will meet a Hornets team coming off a 70-58 non-league loss to Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-6.
The Tigers (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Amesbury (Amesbury, MA). The Indians enter the Cape Ann - Small contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Amesbury was routed by Newburyport (Newburyport, MA), 74-47, in a non-league contest.
