Georgia High School Basketball - LaGrange thwarts Trinity Christian
January 24, 2023: LaGrange, GA 30240 The LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA), 65-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Grangers (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Whitewater went down by Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA), 75-61, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Starr's Mill for a AAAA Region 4 test on Friday, January 27. Trinity Christian will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-62 league win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-14.
