Georgia High School Basketball - LaGrange thwarts Starr's Mill
February 3, 2023: Fayetteville, GA 30215 The LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) basketball knocked off the host Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA), 69-54 in Friday's league test.
The Grangers (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Riverdale (Riverdale, GA). The Raiders go into the AAAA Region 4 test with a 15-8 record. In their last test, Riverdale notched a victory over Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 64-56, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 6-17 record. They play next when they travel to North Clayton for a AAAA Region 4 test on Tuesday, February 7. Starr's Mill will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 76-35 league loss to Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-21.
