Illinois High School Basketball - Reed-Custer thwarts Lisle
January 24, 2023: Lisle, IL 60532 The Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) basketball knocked off the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 61-52 in Tuesday's league test.
The Comets (17-4) will now prepare for their test against Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 14-7 record. In their last test, Grant Park notched a victory over Illinois Lutheran (Crete, IL), 58-35, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Lutheran for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Lisle will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 76-70 non-league loss to Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 14-8.
