Illinois High School Basketball - Wilmington ripped by Reed-Custer

February 3, 2023: Wilmington, IL 60481

The Reed-Custer Comets basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Wilmington Wildcats to 40 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now sport a 22-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Beecher for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Reed-Custer will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 74-37 non-league win over Watseka (Watseka, IL). The Bobcats record now stands at 22-5.

The Wildcats (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Seneca triumphed over Midland (Varna, IL), 62-50, in a league contest.
