The Odessa Bronchos basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting San Angelo Central Bobcats to 52 in the Bronchos league victory on Tuesday.

The Bronchos now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Permian for a 6A Region I District 2 contest on Friday, January 27. Odessa will battle a Panthers team coming off a 79-47 league win over Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 15-9.

The Bobcats (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region I District 2 contest with a 23-3 record. In their last contest, Frenship edged Midland (Midland, TX), 74-62, in a league contest.
