The Covington Chargers (Covington, TN) basketball crushed the host Brighton Cardinals (Brighton, TN), 63-14 in Friday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 8-13 record. They play next when they travel to Raleigh-Egypt for a 3A District 15 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Covington will play a Pharaohs team coming off a 52-9 league loss to Millington Central (Millington, TN). The Pharaohs record now stands at 0-13.
