Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Covington Chargers (Covington, TN), 53-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Millington Central advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Raleigh-Egypt (Memphis, TN) to meet the Pharaohs in a 3A District 15 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Pharaohs enter the match with a record of 0-7.

The Chargers now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brighton for a 3A District 15 match on Tuesday, January 7. Covington will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 66-41 league loss to Munford (Munford, TN). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-11.
