In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Covington Chargers basketball team scored a close 37-33 win over the Ripley Tigers.

The Chargers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Briarcrest Christian (Eads, TN). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Briarcrest Christian was tipped by Collierville (Collierville, TN), 51-29, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders (Jackson, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Ripley will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
