The West Oso Bears (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball crushed the host Mathis Pirates (Mathis, TX), 81-28 in Friday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 24-5 record. They play next when they host Aransas Pass for a 3A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, January 28. West Oso will play a Panthers team coming off a 40-33 league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 12-18.
