South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Olympic Trojans (Charlotte, NC), 50-39 in a league match.

With the victory, South Mecklenburg advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Sabres travel to Berry (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Cardinals in a match on Tuesday, January 28. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 4-9. Berry lost 39-28 in their recent non-league match against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)

The Trojans now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballantyne Ridge for a non-league match on Friday, January 31.
