In Wednesday's league outing, the Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 71-29.

The Wildcats (13-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Miners go into the 4A Sky outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Sunrise Mountain smashed Western (Las Vegas, NV), 45-37, in a league outing.
