Nevada High School Basketball - Las Vegas crushes Cheyenne

February 8, 2023: North Las Vegas, NV 89032

Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV), 72-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Las Vegas upgrades its record to 18-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Coronado (Henderson, NV) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, February 10. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 17-7. Coronado won 53-33 in their recent league match against Green Valley (Henderson, NV)

With the defeat, Cheyenne moves to 5-13 on the year. The Desert shields travel to Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV) to meet the Aggies in a non-league match on Monday, February 13. The Aggies enter the match with a record of 14-7. Arbor View lost 70-37 in their recent league match against Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV)
