The Sundown Roughnecks basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Post Antelopes to 16 in the Roughnecks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Roughnecks now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Home for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 27. Sundown will battle a Leopards team coming off a 76-7 league win over Post (Post, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 23-4.

The Antelopes (3-24) will now prepare for their contest against Seagraves (Seagraves, TX). The Eagles come into the 2A Region I District 5 bout with a 2-16 record. In their last bout, Seagraves was crushed by Ropes (Ropesville, TX), 56-30, in a league bout.
