The Sundown Roughnecks basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Ropes Eagles to 44 in the Roughnecks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Roughnecks now sport a 26-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Panhandle for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. Sundown will meet a Panthers team coming off a 59-41 non-league win over Stratford (Stratford, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 21-2.
