In Saturday's non-league outing, the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) basketball squad edged the host Whiteface Antelopes (Whiteface, TX), by a count of 36-34.

The Eagles (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against New Home (New Home, TX). The Leopards go into the 2A Region I District 5 outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, New Home was tipped by Frenship (Wolfforth, TX), 66-48, in a non-league outing.
