The Ropes Eagles basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Sundown Roughnecks to 37 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seagraves for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, December 20. Ropes will battle a Eagles team coming off a 45-17 league loss to Plains (Plains, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-9.

The Roughnecks (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Post (Post, TX). The Antelopes enter the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Post was defeated by New Home (New Home, TX), 68-8, in a league contest.
