The New Home Leopards basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Ropes Eagles to 44 in the Leopards league triumph on Tuesday.

The Leopards now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Post for a 2A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, December 16. New Home will battle a Antelopes team coming off a 37-17 non-league loss to Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Antelopes record now stands at 0-11.

The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sundown (Sundown, TX). The Roughnecks enter the 2A Region I District 5 contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Sundown ran past Plains (Plains, TX), 57-43, in a league contest.
