The Irish (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Vandals go into the Mid-State test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Merrill walloped Ashley (Ashley, MI), 61-36, in a league test.
The Comets now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fulton for a Mid-State test on Tuesday, January 30. Coleman will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 47-43 league win over Montabella (Blanchard, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 9-6.
