Michigan High School Basketball - Vestaburg knocked off by Sacred Heart Academy
February 1, 2024: Vestaburg, MI 48891 The Sacred Heart Academy Irish basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Vestaburg Wolverines to 41 in the Irish league triumph on Thursday.
The Irish now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breckenridge for a Mid-State contest on Tuesday, February 6. Sacred Heart Academy will meet a Huskies team coming off a 66-25 league win over Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Huskies record now stands at 13-4.
The Wolverines (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets enter the Mid-State contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Coleman was outscored by Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI), 46-44, in a league contest.
