The Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles defeated the host Shelby-Rising City Huskies basketball squad by a final score of 40-32 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 27. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 8-7 record after their 50-31 league win over Osceola (Osceola, NE).
