Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Greeley Central Wildcats (Greeley, CO), 58-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mead upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Longmont (Longmont, CO) to play the Trojans in a 6A/5A/4A Northern bout on Saturday, January 28. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 12-4. Longmont won 57-47 in their recent league bout against Centaurus (Lafayette, CO)
