Nevada High School Basketball - Green Valley tipped by Silverado

The Silverado Skyhawks basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Green Valley Gators to 58 in the Skyhawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Las Vegas for a 4A Lake contest on Monday, January 30. Silverado will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 79-55 league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-8.

The Gators (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers enter the 4A Lake contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Mojave nudged Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV), 104-37, in a league contest.
