Nevada High School Basketball - Western overwhelmed by Silverado

The Silverado Skyhawks basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Western Warriors to 36 in the Skyhawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Skyhawks now sport a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Green Valley for a 4A Lake contest on Thursday, February 9. Silverado will battle a Gators team coming off a 91-33 league win over Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV). The Gators record now stands at 15-11.

The Warriors (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Wildcats come into the 4A Lake contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Las Vegas was routed by Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV), 76-70, in a league contest.
