The University Bulldogs routed the host Weld Central Rebels basketball team by a final score of 70-47 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Strasburg Indians (Strasburg, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 28. University will attempt to move on its 9-6 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 4-8 record after their 60-56 league loss to Brush (Brush, CO).

With the defeat, Weld Central moves to 8-6 on the year. The Rebels host Fort Morgan (Fort Morgan, CO) to face the Mustangs in a non-league game on Saturday, January 28. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 4-11. Fort Morgan lost 88-52 in their recent league game against Frederick (Frederick, CO)
