The Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO), 73-37 in Monday's league test.

The Tigers (9-3) will now prepare for their test against University (Greeley, CO). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Patriot test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, University walloped Berthoud (Berthoud, CO), 67-52, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Valley for a 4A Patriot test on Thursday, January 19. Weld Central will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 76-34 league loss to Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Vikings record now stands at 3-8.
