Arizona High School Basketball - Dobson can't hold off Mesa

The Mesa Jackrabbits basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Dobson Mustangs to 37 in the Jackrabbits league triumph on Thursday.

The Jackrabbits now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Mountain for a 6A East Valley contest on Friday, January 27. Mesa will battle a Mountain Lions team coming off a 55-35 league win over Skyline (Mesa, AZ). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 11-11.

The Mustangs (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, North nudged Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ), 39-22, in a league contest.
