January 26, 2024: West Suffield, CT 06093 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Suffield Wildcats (West Suffield, CT) and the visiting Canton Warriors (Canton, CT), saw Suffield's basketball squad hold off Canton by a tally of 49-47.
With the victory, Suffield improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Granby Memorial (Granby, CT) to play the Bears in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Granby Memorial won 60-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT)
Next up, the Warriors play the East Windsor Panthers (East Windsor, CT) in a North Central Connecticut challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Canton will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 89-27 league loss to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT).
