Connecticut High School Basketball - Suffield knocked off by Granby Memorial
January 30, 2024: Granby, CT 06035 The Granby Memorial Bears basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Suffield Wildcats to 53 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simsbury for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Granby Memorial will battle a Trojans team coming off a 69-45 non-league loss to Conard (West Hartford, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 3-10.
The Wildcats (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Rockville (Vernon, CT). The Rams enter the North Central Connecticut contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Rockville ran past East Granby (East Granby, CT), 46-30, in a league contest.
