Connecticut High School Basketball - Coventry knocked off by Suffield
January 9, 2024: Coventry, CT 06238 The Suffield Wildcats basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Coventry Patriots to 50 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Windsor for a North Central Connecticut contest on Friday, January 12. Suffield will battle a Panthers team coming off a 47-36 league loss to Somers (Somers, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.
The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, CT). The Warriors enter the North Central Connecticut contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Canton was defeated by East Granby (East Granby, CT), 51-47, in a league contest.
