Minnesota High School Basketball - Chaska nips New Prague
January 26, 2024: New Prague, MN 56071 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) and the host New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN), saw Chaska's basketball squad hold off New Prague by a count of 57-54.
With the victory, Chaska upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Hawks host Waconia (Waconia, MN) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Section 2 challenge on Monday, January 29. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Waconia lost 70-64 in their recent league challenge against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)
Next up, the Trojans play the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. New Prague will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Storm come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 90-84 non-league loss to Delano (Delano, MN).
