Minnesota High School Basketball - Chaska nips New Prague
February 20, 2024: Chaska, MN 55318 Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Prague Trojans (New Prague, MN), 57-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Chaska upgrades its record to 10-13 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Waconia (Waconia, MN) to play the Wildcats in a AAAA Section 2 bout on Friday, February 23. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 18-5. Waconia won 59-51 in their recent league bout against Benilde-St. Margaret's (St. Louis Park, MN)
Next up, the Trojans play the Chanhassen Storm (Chanhassen, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. New Prague will attempt to upgrade on its 5-18 season record. The Storm come into the bout with a 11-11 record after their 80-76 non-league win over St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN).
