The Sandy Valley Cardinals basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Ridgewood Generals to 33 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hiland for a Inter-Valley contest on Tuesday, January 30. Sandy Valley will battle a Hawks team coming off a 59-56 non-league loss to Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 10-4.

The Generals (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Claymont (Uhrichsville, OH). The Mustangs come into the Inter-Valley contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Claymont was defeated by Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH), 65-54, in a league contest.
