The Smithson Valley Rangers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Veterans Memorial Patriots to 31 in the Rangers league triumph on Friday.

The Rangers now sport a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon for a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Smithson Valley will meet a Cougars team coming off a 56-36 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 12-15.
